  10/5/2015: Just found out that Ana Cooper called me wrong. Let me be more specific. Gorrie taught interest rate, sales tax and ... in 4th grade gifted math. McKitrick taught long division and ... in 5th grade gifted math which my daughter already learned that in 3rd grade. My daughter did represent McKitrick in Math Bowl competition though. Regarding my issue with school top administrator, she lied to me about the reason why my daughter was forced to give up her assigned seat on the school bus and the PE coach tried to bully/intimidate my daughter in front of two classes of students. I wrote this review based on my experience. I will let other to make their own judgement. 2014: My daughter transferred from Gorrie (4th) to McKitrick (5th). It was a day and night difference. The 4th grade gifted math in Gorrie was way more advance than the 5th grade in McKitrick. I had bad experience with a PE coach and the top administrator also. I blamed myself for transferring my daughter out of Gorrie.
